What Is a Student Aid Report (SAR)?

Your Student Aid Report (SAR) is a summary of the information that you provided on your federal student aid application (FAFSA). The Department of Education will send you your SAR once they have processed your FAFSA. If you completed your FAFSA online, expect to receive an e-mail notification about your SAR three to four days after submitting your FAFSA. If you completed a paper FAFSA, your SAR will arrive in the mail about four weeks after you submitted your FAFSA.

Check Your SAR for Accuracy

Be sure to take the time to review your SAR and check for accuracy. Your SAR reflects the information that's used to calculate your student aid. Mistakes can prevent you from receiving the student aid for which you are eligible! If you find any errors, you can make changes to your FAFSA and request an updated SAR.

Jennifer made the entire process so easy, simple, and stress free. I have tried to do this over and over on the computer, and it has been nothing but a headache. She walked me right through it like I was falling out of bed. I would have spent a lot more money for this. It is really a good deal, and it has lifted a lot of weight off of my shoulders. Thank you very much for your service, and I will highly recommend you to others who are seeking some assistance in filling out their documentation.
